Although quarantine is easing, postal and logistics services are still facing challenges, resulting in a significant slowdown in the movement of international shipments. AB Lietuvos Paštas is no exception - we are obliged to constantly inform customers about disruptions in the delivery of international postal items. We would like to warn once again those who are sending or planning to send abroad - sending to many countries is longer than usual, and to some countries it is not even possible yet.

"Reduced transport supply, limited space on planes, canceled flights, strict border controls and consequent restrictions on land transport, problems of foreign post offices - shorter working hours or shorter working week, reduced staff, etc. - all of this is the reason why postal processes around the world stop or slow down and international items travel much longer. In addition, we noticed an increase in the volume of international shipments - in April, almost 60 percent of shipments were sent from Lithuania. more than last year, says Vaida Budrienė, Head of the Corporate Affairs Department of the Lithuanian Post. - For our part, we are doing everything we can to ensure that international shipments do not stop at all and that delays are kept to a minimum, but we see that the situation will not change in the near future, especially in the countries most affected by the virus. ensure the normal speed of delivery of consignments. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to your understanding. "
